Sisäinen kiintolevy Toshiba 2 TB 3,5 tuuman Serial ATA III S300 valvonta

The Toshiba S300 3.5-inch surveillance hard drive (2TB, SATA III) is engineered for continuous, high‑resolution video recording in DVR, NVR and video server systems. With a 2 TB capacity, 5400 RPM speed and 128 MB buffer, this internal HDD supports up to 32 high‑resolution cameras simultaneously and is built and tested to provide 24/7 reliability and data integrity under demanding conditions.

Advantages

The S300 uses optimized components and rigorous testing to ensure consistent performance for multi‑camera surveillance systems. Dynamic Cache Technology improves read/write buffering to maintain steady throughput, while integrated rotational vibration (RV) sensors and multiple shock sensors reduce knock‑on vibration and maintain stability in multi‑bay enclosures. The drive is designed for high endurance with up to 1,000,000 hours MTTF and a workload rating suitable for continuous surveillance recording.

Suitable for

• DVR systems for analog and hybrid setups
• NVR systems for IP camera recording
• Video servers and storage arrays in small to medium surveillance installations
• Video management systems requiring 24/7 continuous recording

How to use

Install the drive into a compatible 3.5" internal bay of a DVR, NVR or server that supports SATA III. Secure the drive mechanically, connect power and SATA cables, then initialize and format the drive in the device management interface according to the recorder or server instructions. Configure the recording settings and camera streams in your DVR/NVR or video management system to distribute load across drives as recommended by your system vendor.

Recommendations

For reliable multi‑bay operation, use the S300 in systems with compatible firmware and vibration control. Allow adequate airflow and operate within the manufacturer’s temperature range; follow your DVR/NVR vendor guidelines for RAID or drive distribution to minimize vibration impact and ensure continuous 24/7 recording performance.
