Sivuleikkuri Wiha 27388 128 mm — vinoleikkuri, karkaistut terät, eristetyt kahvat

Wiha Side Cutter 27388 is a 128 mm diagonal cutting pliers designed for precise cutting of wires and small components. The tool combines hardened cutting edges with insulated grips to provide controlled, accurate cuts for a variety of conductive materials. Compact length and ergonomic shape make the pliers suitable for both workshop and on-site use where access is limited and precision is required.

Advantages

The hardened cutting edges deliver long-lasting sharpness and resist deformation when cutting copper, aluminium and fine wires. Insulated grips improve handling comfort and provide a secure hold during repetitive tasks. The compact 128 mm design enhances access in confined spaces and enables precise tip alignment for clean cuts. Robust joint construction maintains cutting accuracy over time and reduces the need for frequent adjustment.

Suitable for

• Cutting copper and aluminium wires
• Removing cable ties and trimming small plastic components
• Electronics assembly and repair involving fine wire work
• Field electrical installations and maintenance
• Hobbyist and model-making tasks requiring precise diagonal cuts

Key specifications

• Tool type: diagonal cutting pliers (side cutter)
• Overall length: 128 mm
• Cutting edge: hardened steel for wear resistance
• Handle: insulated grips for improved comfort and grip
• Intended use: cutting wires and small components in electrical and electronic work

How to use

Position the wire close to the cutting edge tip for the cleanest cut and align the pliers so that the jaws meet squarely around the workpiece. Apply steady pressure through the handles until the material is severed. For thicker or multi-stranded cables, make successive small cuts rather than forcing a single full closure. Keep the insulated grips dry and free of grease to maintain a secure hold. After use, inspect the cutting edges for nicks or deformation and store the pliers in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use the tool only for its intended purpose: cutting conductive wires and small components. Do not use the pliers on hardened steel bolts, nails, or rivets as this may damage the cutting edges. Follow standard safety practices when working with live circuits: disconnect power before cutting wires and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
