Sokeaniitti GESIPA 1454050 5 mm x 20 mm teräsrunko alumiinitappi, 250 kpl

Blind rivets GESIPA 5 mm x 20 mm with a steel body and aluminium mandrel are single-sided fasteners supplied in a pack of 250 pieces. Intended for joining thin metal sheets and mixed-material assemblies, these blind rivets form a permanent, vibration-resistant connection where access is available only from one side. The combination of a steel body and aluminium mandrel provides a balance of strength and reduced weight suitable for many industrial and DIY fastening tasks.

Advantages

The steel body delivers high shear and tensile strength while the aluminium mandrel minimises additional weight and reduces the risk of galvanic corrosion in many dissimilar-metal applications. Supplied in a bulk quantity of 250 pieces, these blind rivets support efficient assembly workflows and reduce the need for frequent restocking. Their consistent geometry ensures reliable setting with standard blind-riveting tools and predictable joint quality across repeated operations.

Suitable for

• Joining thin-gauge steel sheets and panels
• Securing assemblies where only one-sided access is possible
• Fastening mixed-material joints (steel to aluminium or composite)
• Industrial production lines and maintenance tasks
• DIY projects and workshop repair work

Key specifications

• Rivet diameter: 5 mm
• Rivet length: 20 mm
• Body material: steel
• Mandrel material: aluminium
• Pack quantity: 250 pieces
• Type: blind (pop) rivet for single-side installation

How to use

Drill a clearance hole of the appropriate diameter through the materials to be joined, ensuring hole alignment and clean edges. Insert the blind rivet through the stack until the head contacts the surface; position the mandrel into the nosepiece of a compatible blind-riveting tool. Squeeze the tool according to the manufacturer's instructions until the mandrel breaks and the rivet body deforms to form the blind head. Remove the spent mandrel and verify that the rivet sits flush and secures the materials with no excessive movement.

Recommendations

Choose a rivet length that accommodates the combined material thickness plus the recommended grip range for reliable clamp force. Use a rivet tool rated for 5 mm rivets and inspect each joint visually after setting; replace any rivets showing incomplete deformation or loose fit. For applications involving different metals, consider surface treatments or sealants to manage potential galvanic effects.
