SonicWALL Stateful High Availability -päivitys TZ300-sarjalle

Network downtime can cripple a business, leaving critical operations vulnerable and employees unable to work. For organizations relying on SonicWall TZ300 or TZ300W firewalls, a single hardware failure or software glitch can mean lost revenue and compromised security. The SonicWALL Stateful High Availability Upgrade eliminates this single point of failure by enabling two firewalls to operate as an active/passive pair, with continuous stateful synchronization. If the primary unit fails, the secondary takes over instantly, preserving all active sessions, VPN tunnels, and security policies. This ensures seamless business continuity and uninterrupted protection for your network.

Who is it for

This upgrade is ideal for small to medium businesses and distributed enterprises that cannot afford network downtime. It suits IT administrators who need a cost-effective redundancy solution without investing in separate high-availability hardware. Whether you run a retail chain, a healthcare clinic, or a remote office, this license ensures your security infrastructure remains resilient against unexpected failures.

Tips

Before activating this upgrade, ensure both firewalls are running the same firmware version and have identical hardware specifications. Configure the HA pair on a dedicated network segment to avoid synchronization delays. Test failover regularly by simulating a primary unit failure to verify that all sessions transfer correctly. Keep the digital activation key in a secure location, as it is required for reinstallation or migration to new hardware.
