CFexpress Type B / XQD memory card reader optimized for Sony CFexpress cards. It is compatible with Sony CFexpress Type B cards as well as XQD G and M series cards, and includes both USB Type‑C to Type‑C and Type‑C to Type‑A cables for immediate connection.

Advantages

The MRW‑G1 supports SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 2 for faster file copying and backup, helping to reduce downtime during production. It provides compatibility with Sony CFexpress Type B and supported XQD cards so a single reader handles both card types. The reader is USB bus powered and compact, making it convenient to carry and use on location.

Recommendations

For the highest transfer speeds, connect the MRW‑G1 to a USB Type‑C port that supports Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 and use the supplied Type‑C to Type‑C cable. Ensure your CFexpress or XQD card firmware is up to date and safely eject the reader before removing the card.
