Adapter for Olympia doorbell, model 6035, in black, designed for mechanical and electrical compatibility with the Olympia video doorbell VDB 824YA. Supplied as one unit, the adapter is intended for retrofit, replacement or new installation work with VDB 824YA systems.

Advantages

The Olympia 6035 adapter provides a compact, wall-mountable solution to adjust the viewing angle of the VDB 824YA video doorbell without modifying the device itself. Its single-piece construction simplifies installation and replacement, while the black finish integrates with dark-coloured housings and outdoor fixtures. The adapter accepts mounting in either left or right orientation to optimise the camera field of view.

When it may not be suitable

This adapter is specifically made for compatibility with the Olympia VDB 824YA video doorbell; it may not fit or provide correct mechanical or electrical connections for other doorbell models or brands. It is a passive mounting/accessory component and does not include electronic functions, seals, or additional hardware such as screws or wiring, so additional mounting accessories may be required depending on the installation surface.

How to use

Position the adapter on the intended mounting surface and orient it to achieve the desired camera/detection angle for the VDB 824YA. Secure the adapter to the wall using appropriate screws or anchors for the mounting substrate (not included). Recommendations

Use the adapter to fine-tune the camera field of view during initial installation, verify alignment with the VDB 824YA’s live view, and secure with suitable exterior-grade fasteners. For long-term outdoor installations, check mounting stability and seals periodically to maintain reliable coverage.
