SPAX yleisruuvit T40 uppokanta ruostumaton teräs A2 8 mm x 240 mm, 50 kpl 0197000802405

When standard screws strip, snap, or fail to bite in dense materials, the SPAX Universal Screw T40 Countersunk Head Stainless Steel A2 8 mm x 240 mm solves the problem with its unique wave-profile thread and 4CUT point. Designed for reliable fastening in wood, chipboard, MDF, plastic, and thin metal profiles, these screws reduce splitting and drive effortlessly without pre-drilling in many cases.

Who is it for

Professional carpenters, joiners, and serious DIYers who need a corrosion-resistant, high-strength fastener for outdoor projects, structural timber connections, or applications where moisture is present. The A2 stainless steel construction makes these screws suitable for use in damp environments and for attaching fittings to wood or plastic.

Main features

• Universal screw with countersunk MULTI head for flush or slightly recessed seating.
• T-STAR plus (Torx) drive, size T40, for positive bit engagement and high torque transfer.

• SPAX wave-profile thread reduces driving torque and increases holding power.
• 4CUT point eliminates the need for pre-drilling in many wood and plastic applications.

Tips

Use a T40 Torx bit for best results. For hardwoods or when maximum precision is required, pre-drill with a diameter slightly smaller than the screw core. The countersunk head can be driven flush or slightly below the surface; for a neat finish, use a countersink bit matched to the head diameter.
