SSD-kotelo DeLOCK 42022 ulkoinen kotelo USB 20 Gbps 2 x M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD

This aluminum enclosure by Delock allows installation of two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs in sizes 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 and connects to a PC or laptop via USB Type-C. The robust metal housing with cooling fins helps maintain optimal operating temperature for the drives. The enclosure supports USB 20 Gbps data transfer and is designed for expanding storage or creating a portable high-speed NVMe solution.

Advantages

The tool-free lid lets you install M.2 NVMe SSDs without screws or tools; drives are held in place by a rubber nipple on the PCB and the lid snaps shut. With two M.2 PCIe NVMe slots, the enclosure supports different RAID modes when both SSDs are installed, offering flexibility for performance or redundancy. The aluminum housing with integrated cooling fins improves heat dissipation during sustained transfers.

Suitable for

• Expanding external storage for laptops and desktops
• Fast backups and large file transfers using NVMe SSDs
• Portable high-speed storage for video editing and media work
• Setting up RAID 0/1 or other supported RAID configurations

How to use

Push the enclosure lid slightly backwards to open it, insert each M.2 NVMe SSD into the corresponding M.2 slot and secure it on the PCB with the rubber nipple. Reattach the lid until it locks. Connect the enclosure to your computer using the USB Type-C cable; the system should detect the NVMe drives. If installing two SSDs, configure RAID in your OS or via supported management tools if required.

Recommendations

Use high-quality M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs that match the supported sizes (2280/2260/2242/2230). Ensure proper airflow around the aluminum enclosure during heavy use to benefit from the cooling fins. Configure RAID mode according to your needs—choose RAID 0 for performance and RAID 1 for redundancy—and back up important data before changing drive configurations.
