Stanley FATMAX M Trigger Clamps tankopuristin

The Stanley FATMAX M Trigger Clamps are compact bar clamps constructed from fiberglass and reinforced nylon, designed to deliver a reliable grip across a range of workshop and DIY tasks. With a 150 mm clamp opening and overall dimensions of 325 mm width and 60 mm depth, these clamps combine a small footprint with practical clamping capacity. The tool features a quick-release M trigger mechanism for single-hand operation and is intended for repeated use in assembly, gluing, and light-to-medium clamping duties.

Advantages

These clamps offer a balance of strength and lightness due to fiberglass construction and nylon components, providing corrosion resistance and reduced weight compared to all-metal designs. The M trigger provides responsive control for incremental pressure and fast release, while the 150 mm opening accommodates many common workpieces. The compact dimensions make storage and transport straightforward, and the jaws are shaped to maintain secure contact without damaging finished surfaces.

Suitable for

• Woodworking assembly and glue-up
• Light metal or plastic holding tasks
• Cabinet and furniture repairs
• Hobby, craft, and model-making applications
• Workshop setups requiring multiple small clamps

Key specifications

• Clamp opening: 150 mm
• Overall width: 325 mm
• Overall depth: 60 mm
• Main materials: fiberglass and reinforced nylon
• Operation: M trigger single-hand mechanism with quick release

How to use

Position the clamp so the workpieces align correctly, then squeeze the M trigger to advance the jaw until firm contact is made. Apply pressure incrementally until the desired holding force is reached; avoid excessive force that could deform the workpiece. Use the quick-release feature to retract the jaw when unclamping. For multiple-piece assemblies, place clamps at appropriate intervals to distribute pressure evenly.

Recommendations

Inspect contact surfaces and use protective pads when clamping finished or delicate surfaces to prevent marking. Store clamps in a dry area to preserve fiberglass and nylon components. For prolonged pressure or heavy-duty applications, consider using larger bar clamps rated for higher clamping force.
