Wall mount rack brackets like this 3U vertical model solve space constraints by mounting 19-inch equipment flat against a wall. The StarTech.com RK319WALLV supports up to 150 lb (68 kg) of patch panels, switches, or AV gear in an open-frame steel design that maximizes airflow and keeps cabling accessible.

Advantages

The 14-gauge steel bracket mounts to standard 16-inch stud spacing, making installation straightforward in offices, home labs, or server rooms. Vertical orientation frees floor and desk space, while the open frame allows unrestricted airflow to prevent overheating. Included cage nuts and screws let you mount equipment of any depth without extra hardware.
