Sub-D-kaapeli ShiverPeaks 78021-3, 2 × 25-napainen, 3 m

Sub-D Cable ShiverPeaks 78021-3, 2 × 25-pin, 3 m is a dual-terminated D-sub connector cable designed to provide two 25-pin Sub-D connections on a single 3.0 meter lead. It is intended for interfacing equipment that uses 25-pin D-sub ports, including legacy parallel devices, industrial controllers, and serial adapters that require dual 25-pin connections. The cable features two male 25-pin Sub-D terminations and encapsulated connector housings for reliable mechanical protection during installation and routine use.

Advantages

The cable delivers two independent 25-pin Sub-D connections in a single cable run, reducing the need for additional adapters or separate leads. Encapsulated connector housings protect the connector pins and improve durability in environments where connectors are subject to handling or movement. A 3.0 m length offers extended reach for rack-to-equipment connections or installations where devices are spaced apart.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy parallel printers or parallel-port equipment to compatible interfaces
• Industrial control equipment and PLC connections that use 25-pin D-sub ports
• Serial/parallel adapters and converters requiring two 25-pin terminations
• Test benches and service setups where multiple 25-pin connections are needed from a single cable

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × 25-pin Sub-D (D-sub) male terminations
• Cable length: 3.0 meters
• Connector housings: encapsulated/overmolded for mechanical protection
• Intended use: serial and parallel interfacing via 25-pin D-sub ports

How to use

Inspect connector housings and pins before connecting to ensure no damage or debris is present. Align each 25-pin Sub-D plug with the corresponding device port and fasten the connector screws to secure the connection and maintain reliable contact. Route the 3.0 m cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce strain on the connectors. When disconnecting, unscrew the fastening hardware and pull the connector by the housing rather than by the cable jacket.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments matching the mechanical protection level of its encapsulated housings and avoid placing sustained tensile loads on the cable. For critical installations, verify pin assignments and signal compatibility between connected devices before applying power or sending data to prevent interface conflicts.
