The EUROLITE Filter Frame PAR-30 Spot 42103540 Black is a metal accessory designed to hold color filters or diffusion gels in PAR30 spotlight housings. It provides a secure mounting point at the front of PAR-30 lamp fixtures, allowing quick insertion and removal of filters without modifying the fixture. The compact, black finish integrates with professional lighting setups for stage, studio, event and architectural applications where controlled colour or softened light is required.

Advantages

The filter frame is constructed from durable metal with a black finish that minimizes reflections and visual distraction. It is shaped to match standard PAR30 spot housings for a snug fit and reliable retention of color gels and diffusion media. The design allows fast changes during setup or performance and helps maintain the beam shape and alignment provided by the PAR-30 lamp housing.

How to use

To use the filter frame, ensure the PAR30 fixture is powered off and cooled. Align the frame with the front bezel of the PAR-30 housing and slide or clip it into place according to the fixture’s front mounting interface. Insert the chosen colour filter or diffusion gel into the frame so it sits flat and secure. Reposition or replace filters as needed during setup; always handle gels with clean hands or gloves to avoid fingerprints and soiling.

Recommendations

Use filters compatible with the frame size and avoid prolonged exposure of diffusion gels to high temperatures. Inspect gels regularly for melting or discoloration if fixtures run at high wattage, and replace damaged media to maintain consistent light quality.
