Suodatinsarja Freewell DJI Mini 5 Pro Soft Edge Gradient — GND-neutraalitiheyssuodattimet

Filter set Freewell for DJI Mini 5 Pro Soft Edge Gradient — GND neutral density filters is a three-piece gradient neutral density kit designed specifically for the DJI Mini 5 Pro. The filters create a soft-edge transition between darkened and clear areas to help balance bright skies with darker foregrounds during aerial and landscape photography. Manufactured to integrate with the Mini 5 Pro mounting system, the set reduces overexposure in highlights while aiming to preserve color accuracy and fine detail in captured images and video.

Advantages

The soft-edge GND design provides gradual light reduction across the frame, minimizing visible transition lines and preserving natural tonal gradation between sky and land. Optical glass and multi-coating layers are engineered to limit reflections, ghosting and color shift, delivering reliable results when shooting directly toward bright light. The filters are sized and framed for straightforward attachment to the DJI Mini 5 Pro filter mount, enabling rapid swapping in the field and consistent alignment for repeatable exposures.

Suitable for

• Landscape aerial photography where sky and foreground exposure differ significantly
• Sunset and sunrise shoots to retain detail in both clouds and terrain
• Real estate and environmental survey flights requiring balanced dynamic range
• Video capture from the Mini 5 Pro when smooth sky gradation is needed

Key specifications

• Filter type: soft-edge gradient neutral density (GND)
• Compatibility: designed for DJI Mini 5 Pro filter mounting system
• Optical material: multi-coated glass for improved transmission and reduced reflections
• Transition: soft/gradual edge to minimize visible demarcation
• Purpose: balance exposure between bright sky and darker foreground

How to use

Attach the appropriate GND filter to the DJI Mini 5 Pro filter mount so the graduated dark portion aligns with the sky area of the composition. Adjust drone position and camera angle until the transition falls across the horizon or between bright and dark areas as needed. Use the soft-edge gradient when a gradual shift in brightness is required; pair with exposure compensation or manual camera settings to fine-tune overall exposure. Remove or replace filters when lighting conditions change to maintain correct exposure balance.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean filter surfaces before each flight using a microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaner to avoid introducing dust or smudges into images. Store filters in their protective case when not in use, and avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or impact. For critical color work, perform test shots and white balance checks with the filter mounted to ensure accurate results.
