Clean the case surface with a soft cloth and mild soap solution; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Inspect the case periodically for damage after impacts and replace it if structural integrity is compromised. Antimicrobial treatment reduces bacteria but does not replace normal hygiene practices.
