Supistussukka InLine 200 mm, halkaisija 16 mm → 8 mm, 20 kpl, musta

Heat-shrink tube InLine 200 mm, diameter 16 mm → 8 mm, 20 pieces, black is a lengthwise heat-shrinkable tubing designed for electrical insulation, mechanical protection and secure cable jointing. Each tube measures 200 mm before shrinking and reduces outer diameter from 16 mm to 8 mm when heated, providing a close-fitting protective sleeve for cables and assemblies. Supplied in a pack of 20 black tubes, this product is suitable for repair work, harnessing, sealing connections and providing strain relief in both electronic and automotive environments.

Advantages

The tubing offers a predictable shrink ratio for consistent fit over varying cable diameters and connectors. Its durable polyolefin construction provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection against abrasion and light impact. The black colour gives a discreet finish and helps conceal repairs or splices. Because the tubes are supplied in uniform 200 mm lengths, they simplify measurement and preparation for multiple similar jobs.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged cable insulation
• Joining and insulating wire splices
• Sealing and protecting connectors and terminals
• Providing strain relief on harnesses and cable runs
• Automotive wiring repairs and aftermarket installations

Key specifications

• Pre-shrink length: 200 mm
• Outer diameter before shrink: 16 mm
• Outer diameter after shrink: 8 mm
• Pack quantity: 20 pieces
• Colour: black
• Material type: heat-shrinkable polyolefin (typical for this product class)

How to use

Slide the appropriate tube over the cable, joint or connector before making the electrical connection. Apply uniform heat using a heat gun, hot air tool, or controlled flame while keeping the tube centered over the repair area; heat until the tube contracts to its final diameter and conforms tightly to the underlying surface. Allow the tubing to cool so it sets firmly around the cable. Trim excess length if necessary once cooled.

Recommendations

For best results use a temperature-controlled heat gun and avoid direct open flame where possible; ensure adequate ventilation and follow safety precautions when working on live circuits—disconnect power before application. Choose the tube size so the pre-shrink diameter fits comfortably over components and the post-shrink diameter provides a snug fit for reliable insulation and strain relief.
