Supistussukka-sarja DeLOCK 20863 2:1 läpinäkyvä 196 kpl

The DeLOCK Heat shrink tube set (model 20863) contains 196 transparent polyolefin sleeves with a 2:1 shrinkage ratio designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical connections. The tubes shrink to half their original diameter under heat, providing mechanical protection and resistance to environmental effects. The set is supplied in a compact reusable storage box (115 × 205 × 40 mm) that keeps the contents free from dirt and is suitable for storing small tool accessories as well.

Advantages

The assortment offers six different diameters to cover a wide range of cable and wire sizes. Polyolefin material provides reliable electrical insulation and durable protection. The transparent colour allows visual inspection of connections after application. The practical storage box organises the 196 pieces and protects them from dust while remaining reusable for other small parts.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and cable joints
• Repairing or reinforcing damaged cable insulation
• Workshop, home DIY and industrial maintenance tasks
• Organising and protecting connections in electronic assemblies

How to use

Choose a heat shrink tube with an initial diameter larger than the cable or connection to be covered. Slide the tube over the cable or joint, then apply heat evenly using a hot air gun until the sleeve shrinks to conform tightly around the conductor. Allow the tube to cool and verify a secure fit and full coverage of the connection.

Recommendations

For best results, heat the polyolefin tube evenly from a distance recommended by the hot air gun manufacturer to avoid scorching. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid open flames. Select a tube diameter that ensures adequate coverage before shrinking.
