Suunta-antenni ALLNET ANT-24-1T1R-PATCH-185

The ALLNET ANT-24-1T1R-PATCH-185 is a directional patch antenna engineered for the 2.4–2.5 GHz Wi‑Fi band. With a maximum gain of 9 dBi and dual polarization, this compact white antenna offers focused signal transmission and reception while maintaining a standard 50 Ω impedance. Its rectangular form and modest dimensions (180 mm × 45 mm × 180 mm) make it suitable for wall- or mast-mounting in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments where improved directional coverage and link stability are required.

Advantages

This directional antenna provides increased effective range and improved signal-to-noise ratio in the targeted direction thanks to its 9 dBi gain and dual polarization design. The 50 Ω impedance ensures compatibility with common Wi‑Fi radio equipment and minimizes mismatch losses. The compact size and rigid patch construction simplify installation and reduce visual impact when mounted on walls or poles.

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 2.4–2.5 GHz
• Maximum gain: 9 dBi
• Polarization: Dual polarization
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Colour: White
• Dimensions: 180 mm × 45 mm × 180 mm

How to use

Mount the antenna oriented toward the intended coverage area or remote unit, using appropriate mounting brackets or a mast clamp. Connect to the Wi‑Fi radio or access point using a matched coaxial cable and connector compatible with the device’s antenna port. Verify correct polarization alignment between transmitting and receiving units for optimal performance. After installation, perform signal strength and throughput tests and adjust aiming as required to achieve the desired link quality.

Recommendations

Place the antenna clear of large metallic objects and reflective surfaces to reduce multipath effects. For installations exposed to weather, use weatherproof connectors and ensure cables are strain‑relieved. When replacing an omnidirectional antenna, confirm the directional pattern and gain meet coverage goals before permanent mounting.
