Kuitukaapeli Synergy 21 40 m OM4 LC - LC

The Synergy 21 40m OM4 LC - LC fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission in modern network environments. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 multimode performance, this 40-metre LC-to-LC patch cable supports elevated bandwidth and low attenuation for extended reach within data centers, server rooms, and enterprise networks. The cable's purple jacket provides clear visual identification in dense cabling installations while its duplex LC connectors ensure reliable mating and compact port density.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode fibre cable delivers consistent signal integrity and reduced modal dispersion for high-bandwidth applications. The duplex LC connectors provide a compact footprint and secure connection, suitable for high-density panels and equipment. The 50 µm core allows compatibility with multimode transceivers and supports short-reach multimode optics. Durable construction and a colour-coded jacket simplify installation and maintenance in rack and patch environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and patching
• Server farm and switch-to-switch connections
• High-speed multimode networking (10G/40G short-reach links)
• Structured cabling in enterprise and campus environments

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode OM4
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 40 m
• Colour: Purple
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Route the fibre cable along existing cable trays or within dedicated conduit, avoiding tight bends and excessive tension. Align and insert the LC duplex connectors into corresponding LC ports until they latch; confirm both ends are correctly seated. Use appropriate cable management and strain-relief to prevent connector stress. Verify link status and perform optical loss testing with a power meter or optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) where required to ensure the installation meets attenuation and performance criteria.

Recommendations

Maintain recommended minimum bend radius and avoid kinking; keep connectors protected with dust caps until connection and clean end faces before mating. Use this OM4 multimode cable with compatible multimode transceivers and follow manufacturer guidelines for connector cleaning and handling to ensure optimal long-term performance.
