SYNERGY21 S217918 CAT6A S/FTP Slim -patch-kaapeli, 5m, musta, LSZH/TPE Superflex, AWG28, 500MHz, 10Gbps

In a busy data center, a network engineer needs a reliable, high-performance cable that won't snag or tangle in dense racks. The SYNERGY21 S217918 CAT6A patch cable delivers exactly that. With its slim 4.5mm round design and superflex TPE/LSZH jacket, it routes easily through cable managers and tight spaces while maintaining full 10-Gigabit performance. The black color blends discreetly into professional environments, and the robust S/FTP shielding ensures signal integrity even in high-interference areas.

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6A (500 MHz bandwidth)
• Length: 5 meters
• Shielding: S-STP (S/FTP) – each pair and overall braid shielded
• Conductor: AWG28 stranded copper
• Jacket: TPE/LSZH (Superflex) – halogen-free, low smoke, highly flexible
• Diameter: 4.5 mm (slimline round)
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated contacts
• Raw cable standard: CAT7 (used for CAT6A construction)
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps

Why choose it

This patch cable combines the performance of CAT6A with the flexibility of a slim, superflex design. The LSZH jacket is safer for enclosed spaces, emitting low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire. The S/FTP shielding provides excellent protection against EMI/RFI, making it ideal for high-density installations. The 5-meter length offers convenient reach without excess slack. Built with CAT7 raw cable, it exceeds standard CAT6A construction for enhanced headroom.

Ideal use cases

• Data centers and server rooms where space is at a premium
• High-speed workstation connections (10GBASE-T)
• PoE applications (up to PoE++) with efficient heat dissipation due to slim design
• Office networks requiring neat, unobtrusive cabling
• Industrial environments needing durable, halogen-free cabling

Good to know

The cable is compliant with relevant standards and supports Power over Ethernet. Its slim profile improves airflow in racks and reduces congestion. The TPE outer jacket offers superior flexibility and resistance to oils and chemicals compared to standard PVC, while remaining halogen-free. The black color is standard for professional installations, and the cable is backed by SYNERGY21 quality.
