The Targus Drifter II Laptop Backpack fits laptops with screens up to 16" and offers multiple storage compartments for everyday use. It has a padded laptop compartment to keep the computer separate and protected, thickly padded back panel with a hidden zippered pocket, and a weather-resistant bottom for improved durability.

Advantages

The backpack provides lumbar support through its reinforced back padding and ensures comfortable carrying with heavily padded shoulder straps. A removable mobile phone pocket and an elastic sunglasses loop on the shoulder strap add practical carrying options. Interior organization includes card pockets, a mesh accessory pocket, a key clip, a soft lined scratch-resistant pocket for fragile items, and an interior divider for documents.

Key specifications

Fits laptops up to 16"
Padded laptop compartment
Thick padded back panel with hidden zippered compartment
Heavily padded shoulder straps with removable phone pocket and sunglasses loop
Two large main compartments
Front organizer: card pockets, mesh pocket, key clip
Soft lined scratch-resistant pocket for fragile accessories
Interior divider for documents
Weather-resistant bottom
Thick industrial zipper pulls and molded plastic handle with metal grommets

How to use

Place your laptop in the padded compartment to keep it isolated from other items and secure valuables in the front organizer pockets. Use the soft lined pocket for glasses or fragile accessories and store documents behind the interior divider to prevent bending. Adjust the shoulder straps for an even weight distribution and use the removable phone pocket and sunglasses loop on the strap as needed.

Recommendations

For prolonged carrying comfort, adjust the straps so the pack sits comfortably on your lumbar area and avoid overfilling the compartments to maintain padding effectiveness and protect electronic devices.
