Tarratulostin Capture CA-RP420 — suoraterminen 203 dpi pöytämalli USB, sarjaportti, Ethernet (musta)

Capture CA-RP420 is a compact direct thermal desktop label printer with 203 dpi print resolution and multi-interface connectivity including USB, serial and Ethernet. Designed for on-demand printing of shipping, barcode and product labels without ribbon use, this black printer fits retail, logistics and office environments where reliable, straightforward label production is required.

Advantages

The CA-RP420 delivers clear 203 dpi thermal prints suitable for barcode scanning and small text. Its direct thermal technology eliminates the need for ink or ribbon, reducing consumable costs and simplifying maintenance. Multiple connection options (USB, serial and Ethernet) provide flexible integration into existing point-of-sale, warehouse or desktop setups. The compact housing and straightforward media loading support quick deployment in constrained workspaces.

Suitable for

• Printing shipping and address labels in fulfillment and e‑commerce operations
• Generating barcode and asset labels for inventory and retail
• Producing product labels and small batch tags in offices or backrooms
• Integrating with POS systems and desktop printing workflows

When it may not be suitable

The direct thermal mechanism means prints are sensitive to heat, sunlight and abrasion and may fade over time, so this printer is not ideal for long-term outdoor labeling or applications requiring high durability. For color labels or high-resolution photo-quality output, a thermal transfer or color printer would be more appropriate.

Key specifications

• Print method: direct thermal
• Print resolution: 203 dpi
• Interfaces: USB, serial (RS‑232), Ethernet
• Media: roll labels (thermal paper), no ribbon required
• Typical use: desktop, on-demand label printing
• Color: black chassis

How to use

Install the CA-RP420 on a stable surface and connect it to a host using USB, serial or Ethernet depending on your setup. Load a roll of compatible thermal labels according to the user guide and configure label size and print settings in the driver or label software. Send print jobs from your POS, warehouse management system or label design application. Routine tasks include checking label alignment, cleaning the print head and updating drivers or firmware when available.

What to consider before purchase

• Required label sizes and roll core dimensions compatible with the printer
• Environmental conditions: avoid prolonged exposure to heat, direct sunlight or abrasive surfaces
• Connectivity preference: USB, serial or network integration with existing systems
• Expected label longevity—direct thermal labels are best for short-to-medium term use

Recommendations

For consistent results, use quality direct thermal labels specified for 203 dpi printing, store media in a cool, dry place, and perform periodic print head cleaning. When integrating with inventory or POS software, test label templates and barcode verification to ensure readable scans and correct layouts before full deployment.
