TC Electronic Fangs metallidistortion-pedaali sähkökitaralle

The Fangs Metal Distortion stands apart from typical high-gain pedals by preserving note clarity and definition even when the gain is pushed to its limits. Where many distortion circuits turn fizzy or thin at extreme settings, this pedal delivers a tight, percussive response that flatters fast palm-muted riffs and aggressive rhythm work. Its analog circuitry provides an organic, responsive feel, while the active 3-band EQ and dedicated Scoop switch offer precise control over your metal tone—from modern djent to old-school thrash.

Highlights

• High-gain metal distortion with aggressive, articulate character
• Active 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) for precise tone shaping
• Scoop switch instantly cuts mids for classic metal sounds
• True bypass switching keeps your dry signal pristine
• Compact die-cast metal housing fits any pedalboard
• Analog circuitry delivers organic, responsive gain
• Top-mounted jacks save space and simplify cabling

In daily use

Plug in, crank the gain, and the Fangs immediately responds with tight, percussive distortion that flatters fast palm-muted riffs. The Level control provides ample output to drive your amp's front end or sit perfectly in a loop. Use the Bass and Treble controls to tailor the low-end punch and high-end cut, then adjust the Mid control to find the sweet spot for your guitar and pickups. For instant '80s thrash or modern metalcore tones, engage the Scoop switch to carve out the mids and let the bass and treble dominate.
