Technaxx 4G Wildcam TX-189 ulkokamera 4MP CMOS aurinkopaneeli

The Technaxx 4G Wildcam TX-189 Outdoor Camera combines a 4MP CMOS sensor with wide-angle optics and an integrated solar panel to provide extended outdoor surveillance and wildlife monitoring. The camera captures detailed images with a horizontal field of view of 100° and a vertical field of view of 62°, and is designed to operate in low-light conditions down to 0.1 lx. Its weather-resistant housing and discrete green and black finish support installation in natural environments where continuous power from the solar panel reduces the need for battery replacement.

Advantages

The 4MP CMOS sensor delivers higher-resolution stills and video than typical lower-resolution trail cameras, improving detail for identification and observation. Wide viewing angles cover a broader scene with fewer blind spots. Low-light sensitivity allows monitoring at dawn, dusk, and in shaded areas. The integrated solar panel provides sustained energy input to the camera, extending operating intervals and reducing maintenance. A compact, camouflaged housing in green and black helps the device blend into outdoor surroundings.

Suitable for

• Wildlife observation and behavioural studies
• Remote property and perimeter security
• Hunting site monitoring and game tracking
• Farm and livestock surveillance in outdoor pastures
• Long-term environmental monitoring without frequent maintenance

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 4MP CMOS
• Horizontal field of view: 100°
• Vertical field of view: 62°
• Minimum illumination: 0.1 lux (low-light operation)
• Integrated solar panel for extended power supply
• Housing colours: green and black
• Weight: 0.595 kg

How to use

Select a stable mounting location with a clear line of sight over the area to be monitored and sufficient sunlight exposure for the solar panel. Mount the camera at an appropriate height and angle to make the most of the 100° horizontal and 62° vertical fields of view. Insert and secure the power and storage components as described in the manufacturer instructions, then configure the 4G connectivity and recording parameters via the device interface or companion app. Test the camera during different lighting conditions to confirm low-light performance and adjust sensitivity or mounting position if needed.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, position the camera where the solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours a day, avoid mounting behind dense foliage, and periodically check the housing for debris or moisture. Use the camera’s wide field of view to reduce the total number of units required for area coverage and schedule occasional inspections to ensure firmware and settings remain up to date.
