Teippi 3M FE510055117 läpinäkyvä 33 m x 15 mm silikoni

3M FE510055117 Transparent 33 m x 15 mm Silicone tape is a clear, flexible adhesive tape formulated with a silicone-based adhesive. With a 33 meter roll length and 15 mm width, the tape provides a narrow, durable strip suitable for applications that demand transparency, temperature and moisture resistance, and gentle removal from many substrates. The transparent backing allows discreet use where visibility of the underlying surface is important, while the silicone adhesive maintains performance across a wide temperature range and on surfaces that can be challenging for conventional adhesives.

Advantages

The silicone adhesive offers consistent tack and shear resistance, making the tape effective for temporary fastening, sealing and surface protection without leaving aggressive residue on delicate finishes. Its transparency helps maintain visual continuity on clear or colored surfaces. The tape’s flexibility enables conforming to irregular shapes and edges, and the 33 m length reduces roll changes during extended tasks. Resistance to moisture and temperature variation enhances reliability in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Suitable for

• Masking and protection of painted, glass or polished surfaces during painting and assembly
• Temporary fastening of components in electronics and small-scale manufacturing
• Sealing seams and joints in applications requiring a transparent finish
• Holding wiring or lightweight parts in place during installation or repair

Key specifications

• Length: 33 meters
• Width: 15 millimeters
• Backing: transparent flexible film
• Adhesive: silicone-based adhesive formulated for temperature and moisture resistance
• Typical use temperature range: suitable for environments where silicone adhesives perform better than acrylics (refer to manufacturer data for exact limits)

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oils or loose particles before application. Cut the required length and apply the tape using steady pressure to achieve full contact with the substrate; smooth from the center outward to avoid trapped air. For curved or irregular surfaces, stretch slightly and conform the tape carefully to maintain adhesion and appearance. To remove, lift an edge and peel back slowly at a moderate angle; removal behavior depends on substrate type and exposure duration.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For optimal performance on sensitive finishes or specific substrates, test the tape on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure beyond the adhesive’s rated limits to prevent loss of tack or residue changes.
