Teippi Tesa TIXO 56131, matta, 19 mm x 33 m

Tesa TIXO 56131 is a matte adhesive tape with a 19 mm width and 33 m length, intended for general-purpose sealing, fixing and masking tasks. The matte surface reduces reflections and provides a discreet appearance on a variety of surfaces. The tape combines a paper-based backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for reliable initial tack and durable holding power on cardboard, paper, painted surfaces and some plastics.

Advantages

The matte finish minimizes glare and is suitable where a non-reflective look is required. Narrow 19 mm width allows precise application in tight areas and along edges. The tape offers secure adhesion with clean tearability by hand for fast, tool-free use. It is designed to perform across home, office and light industrial environments, delivering predictable handling and consistent results.

Suitable for

• Sealing small parcels and envelopes
• Fixing lightweight objects and bundling cables
• Masking edges for light painting or surface protection
• Label securing and temporary attachments
• Crafts, repairs and everyday household tasks

Key specifications

• Width: 19 mm
• Length: 33 m
• Surface: matte
• Backing material: paper-based backing
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive for general-purpose use
• Application: hand-tearable and suitable for precise application

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of dust or grease. Cut or tear the required length of tape, press it firmly onto the surface and smooth with your fingers to secure adhesion. For masking, align the tape along the edge to be protected and press down to prevent paint seepage. When removing, pull slowly at a low angle to reduce the risk of residue or surface damage on delicate finishes.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain adhesive performance. Test adhesion on an inconspicuous area when using on sensitive or newly painted surfaces. For long-term bonding or exposure to heavy loads and outdoor conditions, consider a tape specifically rated for those purposes.
