Telakointiasema ALLNET X-trail Intel Gigabit RJ45:llä, 2×USB-liitännällä ja RS232:lla (malli X-trail-Intel-Dock)

The ALLNET X-trail Intel docking station (model X-trail-Intel-Dock) provides wired network and peripheral connectivity for laptops and compatible devices. It offers a Gigabit RJ45 LAN port for stable wired Ethernet, two USB ports for connecting keyboards, mice or storage devices, and an RS232 serial interface for legacy equipment. The device is intended for office environments, industrial HMI systems and POS setups that require reliable physical connections rather than wireless links.

Advantages

The docking station consolidates multiple wired interfaces into a single compact unit, reducing cable clutter and simplifying the connection of Ethernet, USB accessories and serial devices. By providing a Gigabit RJ45 port it supports high-speed wired data transfer and stable network access. The inclusion of an RS232 interface enables connection to older industrial controllers, barcode scanners or other legacy peripherals that lack modern USB or network interfaces.

Suitable for

• Office laptops requiring wired Ethernet and USB peripherals
• Point-of-sale systems needing serial connectivity for receipt printers or scanners
• Industrial HMI installations that use RS232 devices alongside networked equipment
• Workstations where a stable Gigabit wired connection is preferred over Wi‑Fi

Key specifications

• Network interface: Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port for wired LAN connection
• USB interfaces: two USB ports for peripherals such as keyboard, mouse or external storage
• Serial interface: RS232 port for legacy devices and industrial equipment
• Form factor: compact docking station designed to connect a single host device to multiple wired interfaces
• Primary use cases: office, industrial HMI and POS environments requiring wired connectivity

How to use

Connect the docking station to a compatible laptop or host device using the appropriate interface and drivers as required by the host. Plug a network cable into the Gigabit RJ45 port to establish wired LAN access. Attach USB peripherals such as keyboards, mice or external drives to the two USB ports. Connect RS232-compatible devices like legacy controllers, barcode scanners or serial printers to the RS232 interface. Ensure the host recognizes each connected device and install any necessary drivers or configuration settings for serial communication.

Recommendations

Use the docking station in a ventilated, dry environment and route cables to avoid strain on connectors. For reliable serial communication, verify serial port settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits) on both host and peripheral. When deploying in industrial or POS environments, test device compatibility and driver availability before full installation.
