Kaapeliliitin Preisner FST70 hopea

The Preisner FST70 Silver wire connector by Televes is a metal cable connector designed for establishing reliable electrical and signal connections. With a 7 mm inner diameter and a silver finish, it provides a compact, conductive joint suitable for installations where a durable metal connector is required. Each pack contains one connector, intended for use in professional and DIY wiring tasks where robust contact and corrosion resistance are needed.

Advantages

The metal construction ensures good electrical conductivity and mechanical strength, while the silver finish improves surface conductivity and offers corrosion resistance in common indoor and sheltered environments. Its 7 mm inner diameter accommodates a range of cable sizes and helps ensure a snug fit. The single-piece pack allows users to purchase only the quantity needed for small repairs or prototype work.

How to use

Prepare cable ends by stripping insulation to the appropriate length for the connector; ensure conductors are clean and free of oxidation. Insert the conductor(s) into the connector until fully seated and, if applicable, apply the specified fastening method (crimping, soldering, or tightening) according to the installation practice and local electrical standards. Verify electrical continuity and mechanical stability after installation. Follow standard safety procedures, switch off power sources before working on live circuits, and use appropriate tools for crimping or soldering.

Recommendations

Use the connector in environments consistent with its metal finish—indoors or sheltered locations—to reduce long-term exposure to corrosive elements. Select cable sizes that match the 7 mm inner diameter for a secure fit, and confirm compatibility with your fastening method (crimp, solder, or screw) before finalizing the connection.
