COLEMAN Rocky Mountain 5 BlackOut Green/Grey — model 2025 is a tunnel-style family tent designed to accommodate up to five people. The tent uses COLEMAN’s BlackOut fabric technology to reduce incoming light and create a darker interior for improved rest. Its tunnel layout provides separate living and sleeping zones, a straightforward front entrance and a compact packed size suited for car camping, festivals and extended stays outdoors.

Advantages

The BlackOut fabric reduces daylight and roadside glow to help maintain sleep cycles and privacy. How to use

Choose a level, cleared campsite and lay out the footprint or groundsheet, then spread the tent body flat. Assemble the tunnel poles and slide or clip them into place according to the pole sleeves or attachment points. Erect the tent and secure it with pegs and guy lines, adjusting tension for stability. Place sleeping mats and gear into the sleeping zone and keep the living area for social activities and storage. Close the front doorway and inner doors to use the BlackOut fabric benefits for darker interior conditions.

Recommendations

Pitch the tent with the tunnel axis aligned to reduce wind exposure on the long side, and use all pegs and guy lines provided. For best blackout effect, keep inner curtains closed during daylight hours and ventilate according to weather to prevent condensation.
