Teräsvaijeri EUROLITE 58010422 900 x 3 mm hopea, ilman liitintä

Steel cable EUROLITE 58010422 is a flexible, single-line steel wire designed for light rigging and fastening tasks. The cable measures 900 x 3 mm and comes in a silver finish. Supplied without connector, it provides a consistent diameter and corrosion-resistant metallic surface suitable for general-purpose suspension, securing loads, and other installations where a thin steel line is required.

Advantages

The EUROLITE steel cable combines a uniform 3 mm diameter with a long 900 mm length to deliver predictable mechanical behaviour in installations. Its silver metallic surface contributes to corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. Being supplied without a connector allows users to choose and attach the most appropriate end fitting for their specific application. The cable’s flexibility makes it easy to handle and route through small openings or pulleys while maintaining tensile strength for light-duty tasks.

How to use

Inspect the cable visually for any visible damage before use. Cut to the required length if necessary and choose compatible end fittings, ferrules, or clamps rated for the cable diameter and intended load. When terminating, use appropriate crimping or swaging tools following the fitting manufacturer’s instructions to achieve a secure connection. Route the cable through fixtures or pulleys, avoid sharp bends that may damage strands, and tension gradually to the required load while monitoring for slippage or deformation.

Recommendations

For safety and longevity, use this 3 mm steel cable only within the manufacturer-recommended load limits for light-duty applications. Store dry and avoid prolonged exposure to corrosive environments. Replace the cable if any broken strands, kinks, or visible corrosion appear. Select connectors and termination methods rated for the cable diameter and the expected working load.
