Termostaattipää Nice Fibaro FGT-001 ulkoisella lämpötila-anturilla HEAT-CONTROL KIT

The Nice Fibaro FGT-001 Thermostatic Head HEAT-CONTROL KIT is a radiator-mounted thermostatic actuator supplied with an external temperature sensor to improve measurement accuracy and room climate control. Designed to replace or upgrade conventional thermostatic heads, the device mounts on standard radiator valves and uses the external sensor input to provide more reliable temperature feedback than valve-top sensing alone. The kit is suitable for residential and small commercial heating systems where a separate sensing location reduces the influence of drafts, heat sources, or obstructed valve positions.

Advantages

The thermostatic head with external temperature sensor delivers precise temperature regulation by measuring ambient conditions at a remote point rather than at the valve body. This improves comfort stability and reduces temperature swings. The actuator is compact and compatible with common radiator valve adapters, enabling straightforward installation without major plumbing changes. The external sensor allows flexible placement to avoid local heat sources or cold drafts, helping the heating system operate more efficiently and maintain setpoints more accurately.

How to use

Install the thermostatic head onto the radiator valve following the adapter and mounting instructions supplied with the kit. Position the external temperature sensor at the location in the room where representative ambient temperature should be measured — away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or cold drafts. Connect the sensor to the thermostatic head per the wiring/connection guidance and verify that the control system or the actuator reads the external probe. Set the desired temperature on the actuator or through the connected control system; the actuator will modulate the radiator valve based on the external sensor feedback to maintain the selected setpoint.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the external sensor at breathing height on an interior wall away from radiators, windows, or doors. Regularly check the sensor cable and connections for secure fastening. When replacing an existing head, ensure the valve spindle and adapter dimensions match the device to avoid leaks or improper operation. Use the external sensor placement to avoid local thermal influences for more consistent room temperature control.
