A wireless outdoor transmitter provides outside temperature, and the clock also includes a USB charging port for powering a smartphone overnight.

Advantages

The radio-controlled alarm clock automatically synchronises time via DCF77 to ensure accurate timekeeping and offers a multi-colour display with an automatic mode cycling through 70 colour hues or a fixed single-colour option. Display brightness can be set to two levels. The device shows indoor temperature at its location and receives outdoor temperature from a wireless transmitter. It supports the date and weekday display in seven different languages and includes a snooze function and a USB charging port.

If you have the wireless outdoor transmitter, pair or position it according to its instructions so the outdoor temperature is transmitted to the clock. Use the display controls to select automatic multi-colour mode or a single colour and set the preferred brightness level. Set the alarm time and enable snooze as needed. Connect a smartphone to the USB port to charge it overnight.

Recommendations

Position the clock where it receives a clear DCF77 signal (away from large metal objects and strong electromagnetic sources). Place the outdoor transmitter outdoors in a sheltered, ventilated spot to ensure accurate external temperature readings and replace batteries in both units as recommended to maintain reliable operation.
