Detachable all-metal handle modeled on the A-10C flight stick, designed for desk or cockpit-style use. The joystick is heavy and stable (over 3 kg) and features realistic button and trigger pressure, a detachable metal base plate, USB connectivity and upgradeable firmware. It is compatible with HOTAS Cougar™ systems and supports Thrustmaster's H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensor technology for high-precision input.

Advantages

The metal construction and removable plate provide durable, versatile mounting options for both desktop and cockpit installations. H.E.A.R.T Hall Effect AccuRate Technology ensures long-lasting, drift-free precision with 16-bit resolution. The weighted base increases stability during intense use, while the variety of hats, triggers and buttons offers extensive control mapping for flight simulation.

Key specifications

Replica of A-10C flight stick
Detachable metal handle and detachable metal plate for desk or cockpit use
Total action inputs: 19 action buttons + one 8-way point-of-view hat
Controls: 1 x 8-way POV hat, 2 x 8-way hats, 1 x 4-way hat with push, 1 x metal dual trigger, 2 x push buttons, 2 x pinkie push buttons
H.E.A.R.T (Hall Effect) 3D magnetic sensors
16-bit resolution (65,536 x 65,536 values)
5-coil spring system for firm, linear tension without dead zones
Weighted joystick base: over 3 kg for stability
USB connector and upgradeable firmware
Compatible with HOTAS Cougar™ (and vice-versa)
Compatible with T.A.R.G.E.T software (Drag-and-Drop, Basic/Advanced/Script programming)

How to use

Attach the metal handle to the supplied base plate for cockpit-style mounting or remove the plate for standard desk use. Connect the joystick to the PC via USB and, if needed, update the firmware using the vendor tools. Configure button and hat assignments in your simulator or use the T.A.R.G.E.T software to create and upload custom profiles using drag-and-drop or scripting modes. Adjust tension and placement as required for ergonomic comfort.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the latest T.A.R.G.E.T software and firmware updates, mount the weighted base on a stable surface, and use the detachable plate when a fixed cockpit-style setup is required. Verify compatibility with HOTAS Cougar™ setups before integrating into an existing system.

10/10

Loppuarvio: If money isn't an issue, this is the set-up to get. Or to put it another way, the moment the review joysticks go back to Thrustmaster I'll be buying a set. I just won't eat food for a few months...

Plussat

Incredible build quality
Enough buttons and switches to meet all your needs
Joystick, throttle and hat switches let you control almost any sort of movement
All switches are satisfying to use
Heavy weight means they won't move when being used
