Tiivistysnauha Gardena 7219-20 valkoinen 12 m

The Gardena 7219-20 Sealing Tape is a white thread-sealing tape for metal fittings and threaded connections. The tape is 12 m long, 12 mm wide and 0.1 mm thick, designed to create a reliable seal on pipe threads without the need for rubber seals or O-rings. It is suitable for plumbing, irrigation and other applications where a durable threaded seal is required.

Advantages

The tape seals threads effectively without additional rubber seals or O-rings, is simple to apply and conforms to metal threads. Its 12 m length and 12 mm width provide enough material for multiple fittings, and the 0.1 mm thickness allows for a tight seal while being easy to wrap around threads.

Suitable for

• Plumbing pipe threads
• Irrigation and garden hose fittings
• Metal threaded joints in household repairs
• Cold-water installations where PTFE-like tape is acceptable

How to use

Clean the male thread to remove dirt and grease. Hold the tape on the thread start and wrap clockwise around the male thread, overlapping slightly with each turn, typically 3–5 turns depending on thread pitch. Press the tape into the thread crests as you wrap to ensure contact. After wrapping, cut or tear the tape and screw the fitting together; tighten as required for a secure seal.

Recommendations

The tape is intended for sealing metal threaded connections in plumbing and irrigation systems. Avoid using it on high-pressure steam or oxygen systems and follow local installation standards. For best results, use on clean, dry threads and apply the number of wraps appropriate to the thread size.
