TOPEAK MTX DXP 2.0 -tarakkalaukku, jossa avautuvat sivutaskut, malli 2024

TOPEAK trunk bag MTX DXP 2.0 with expandable side panniers, 2024 model, is a rear rack-mounted luggage solution for bicycles that fits compatible MTX racks. The bag features a main compartment with organized pockets and two fold-out side panniers that expand the carrying capacity when required. The design preserves low profile mounting for everyday commuting while providing additional volume for touring, shopping or carrying tools and clothing.

Advantages

The MTX DXP 2.0 integrates a secure MTX mounting system for easy attachment and removal from compatible rear racks. Expandable side panniers increase capacity without permanently enlarging the bag, allowing rapid transition between compact and extended configurations. Internal pockets and dividers help keep small items and tools organized, and a water-resistant outer fabric provides basic protection against light rain and road spray. Reflective accents improve visibility when riding in low light.

Suitable for

• Commuting in urban environments where a compact bag is preferred most of the time
• Weekend touring or longer rides that require extra luggage capacity
• Grocery shopping or errands where flexible storage volume is useful
• Carrying bike tools, spare clothing and small personal items securely on the rear rack

How to use

Mount the trunk bag onto a compatible MTX rear rack by aligning the MTX quick-fit latch with the rack bars and engaging the locking mechanism until the bag is securely seated. Use the main compartment and internal pockets to organize tools, a jacket or daily essentials. When additional space is required, unfold the side panniers and secure their closures to expand the usable volume. To remove the bag, release the MTX latch according to the rack’s instructions and lift the bag using the top handle.

Recommendations

Use the bag within the recommended load limits of your rear rack and follow the MTX rack manufacturer’s guidance for safe attachment. Distribute weight evenly and avoid overloading one side when using only a single expanded pannier. For heavier or wet loads, consider using additional waterproof liners inside the compartments and check fastenings before each ride.
