Polkupyörälaukku Topeak BackLoader 15 L nailon polyeteeni musta

The Topeak BackLoader 15 L is a saddle-mounted bicycle bag designed to provide substantial storage without requiring a rear rack. Constructed from durable nylon and polyethylene, the bag offers a 15-litre capacity and a compact profile with approximate dimensions of 670 mm width, 280 mm depth and 180 mm height. The BackLoader is intended for bikepackers and cyclists who need a stable, quick-mounting solution for carrying gear on long rides. An included waterproof inner bag protects contents from moisture, while the bag's lightweight, water-resistant outer materials balance durability with reduced weight.

Advantages

The BackLoader combines a high-capacity interior with a streamlined shape to minimise interference with pedaling and handling. Its upgraded saddle mount system and compression straps work together to stabilise the load and reduce pendulum movement common with large rear-mounted loads. Materials used—nylon for durability and polyethylene for structural support—offer resistance to wear and weather exposure. The quick-mount and release fitment enables fast installation and removal, and the supplied waterproof inner bag ensures reliable protection of contents in wet conditions.

Suitable for

• Bikepacking and multi-day cycling trips where a rear rack is not used
• Long-distance rides requiring clothing, tools and food storage
• Commuting when additional storage is needed without a pannier rack
• Gravel and mixed-surface rides that benefit from a low-profile load

Key specifications

• Capacity: 15 litres
• Materials: nylon outer with polyethylene structural elements
• Approximate dimensions: 670 mm (width) x 280 mm (depth) x 180 mm (height)
• Mounting: saddle-mounted with upgraded mount system and compression straps
• Includes: waterproof inner pouch for dry storage
• Colour: black

How to use

Position the BackLoader beneath the saddle and secure the saddle-mount interface according to the saddle rails and seatpost configuration. Use the compression straps to tighten and stabilise the load, adjusting strap tension to minimise sway and maintain bike balance. Place items into the included waterproof inner bag for protection, close it fully, then insert it into the main compartment. When removing the bag, release the compression straps and unclip the saddle mount for quick detachment.

Recommendations

Distribute weight evenly and avoid overfilling beyond the 15 L capacity to preserve handling. Secure loose items inside the waterproof inner bag to prevent shifting, and periodically check mounting points and strap tension during long rides. For heavy or bulky loads consider additional frame or handlebar storage to keep centre-of-gravity low and maintain stable ride dynamics.
