TRIAX OTX1310KIT optinen lähetin OTX 1310 laajakaista-LNB:llä TWB 40 307785

Distributing satellite TV signals over long distances in large residential or commercial buildings often means dealing with signal loss and bulky coaxial cabling. The TRIAX OTX1310KIT solves this by converting satellite RF signals into an optical signal for transmission over lightweight, low-loss fiber optic cable. This kit includes the OTX 1310 optical transmitter, a TWB 40 wideband LNB, and a 20V DC power supply, providing everything needed to launch a fiber-based satellite distribution system.

Who is it for

This kit is ideal for installers and system integrators working on multi-dwelling units (MDUs), hotels, hospitals, or FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) projects where satellite signals must be distributed to many outlets without degradation. It suits professionals who need a reliable, high-performance optical link for satellite TV distribution.

Tips

For optimal performance, use single-mode fiber with low insertion loss connectors. When planning a distribution network, account for optical splitter losses: each 1:2 split reduces power by about 3 dB. Ensure the power supply is connected before the transmitter to avoid damage. The wideband LNB should be mounted with a clear line of sight to the satellite, and the fiber run should be protected from sharp bends.
