Trotec TroLase kalvo musta matta/valkoinen 0,2 mm

In a busy industrial workshop, a technician needs durable, high-contrast labels for equipment that must withstand harsh conditions and remain legible for years. The Trotec TroLase Foil in matte black with a white core is the answer. This two-layer laser engraving foil is specifically engineered for CO2 laser systems, allowing you to create precise, professional markings by simply engraving away the top black layer to reveal the crisp white core beneath. The result is a high-resolution, high-contrast design that is both scratch-resistant and UV-stable, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. With a thickness of just 0.2 mm, this flexible foil is easy to cut and shape, yet robust enough for demanding applications such as labels, nameplates, industrial tags, and signage. The matte surface finish reduces glare and provides a premium look, while the modified acrylic composition ensures excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. Whether you are producing small batches or high-volume runs, this TroLase foil delivers consistent quality and reliability. It can be processed with vector cutting for precise outlines or raster engraving for detailed graphics, and it is compatible with both laser cutting and shear cutting methods. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to +80°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments. Please note that the standard version does not include adhesive backing, allowing you to choose the mounting method that best fits your project.

Why choose it

This TroLase foil stands out for its exceptional contrast and durability. The matte black surface with a white core ensures that engraved text and graphics are sharp and easily readable, even from a distance. Its high UV resistance means that markings will not fade or yellow when exposed to sunlight, making it ideal for outdoor signage and equipment labels. The material's flexibility allows it to conform to slightly curved surfaces, while its robust chemical and abrasion resistance ensures longevity in industrial settings. Additionally, the 0.2 mm thickness strikes the perfect balance between ease of cutting and structural integrity, reducing the risk of tearing during processing.

Ideal use cases

• Industrial equipment labels and nameplates
• Outdoor signage and wayfinding
• Safety and warning signs
• Control panel overlays
• Asset tags and barcode labels
• Custom badges and decorative elements

Good to know

For best results, use a CO2 laser with appropriate power settings for 0.2 mm acrylic foil. Always perform a test engraving to fine-tune speed and power for your specific machine. The foil can be cut with a laser or shear cutter, but avoid excessive heat to prevent edge melting. Since the standard version does not have adhesive backing, consider using a suitable adhesive or mechanical fastening for mounting. Store the foil flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its properties.
