Tuuletin Alphacool Apex Stealth Metall 12 cm musta 400-2000 kierr./min 20-29.9 dB

The Alphacool Apex Stealth Metall 12 cm fan is a case cooling fan engineered for balanced airflow and low-noise operation. With a speed range from 400 to 2000 RPM and a maximum airflow of 76.81 CFM, this fan targets efficient heat removal in desktop computer enclosures. The unit uses a Hydro Dynamic Bearing to extend service life and reduce operational friction, and its black metal frame and blades deliver a subdued visual profile suitable for a wide range of builds.

Advantages

The fan combines a wide rotational speed range with comparatively low acoustic output, registering approximately 20 dB at lower speeds and up to 29.9 dB at maximum speed. Its Hydro Dynamic Bearing contributes to longer lifespan and stable performance over time. The metal construction contributes to structural rigidity and steadier airflow characteristics, while the 12 cm form factor fits most standard case mounting points.

Suitable for

• General-purpose case cooling in mid-tower and full-tower PC enclosures
• Replacement or upgrade of existing 120 mm fans to improve airflow
• Systems requiring a balance between quiet operation and higher cooling capacity under load
• Builds where a discreet, black metal fan aesthetic is preferred

Key specifications

• Fan size: 120 mm (12 cm)
• Speed range: 400–2000 RPM
• Maximum airflow: 76.81 CFM
• Acoustic level: approximately 20–29.9 dB depending on speed
• Bearing type: Hydro Dynamic Bearing
• Color: black metal frame and blades

How to use

Install the fan into a compatible 120 mm mounting location in your computer case, aligning the airflow direction with your cooling plan (intake or exhaust). Secure the fan with appropriate mounting screws and connect the power cable to the motherboard fan header or a compatible fan controller. Adjust fan speed via BIOS settings, motherboard software, or an external controller to achieve the desired balance between cooling performance and noise level.

Recommendations

For optimal results, position the fan to support a clear airflow path through the case, avoiding obstructions near drive cages or cable bundles. Regularly inspect and clean dust from the blades and frame to maintain performance and low noise. When integrating multiple fans, set profiles so fans operate at lower speed during idle and increase under load to minimize average acoustic output.
