Tuuletin Noiseblocker MultiFrame M8-2

The Noiseblocker MultiFrame M8-2 is an 80 mm computer case fan designed for efficient cooling of small form-factor systems. It combines a compact 80 x 80 x 25 mm chassis with a maximum rotational speed of 1700 RPM and an airflow of 47 m³/h. The fan’s black finish and low operational voltage make it suitable for a variety of builds where space is limited and quiet operation is desired.

Advantages

The MultiFrame M8-2 uses Noiseblocker’s patented vibration-free multi-part frame with integrated structure-borne sound absorbers and a glass fibre-reinforced construction to reduce resonance and mechanical noise. It is equipped with the NB-EKAPlus II wide-range drive that produces low impulse noise and almost noise-free NB-NanoSLI® bearings for long service life. Additional features include extremely low start voltage, reverse pole and overload protection with restart function, and verified technical data. The manufacturer provides a 6-year guarantee.

Suitable for

• Small form-factor PC cases and compact desktop builds
• Systems where low noise and reduced vibration are priorities
• Cooling secondary components (chipsets, VRMs) or enhancing case airflow
• Replacement fan in black-colour builds

How to use

Mount the fan in the desired position inside the case using the appropriate screws or rubber mounts (not included unless stated by the supplier). Connect the fan to a compatible power source or motherboard header that supplies the required 4.5 V operating voltage; if your system provides a higher voltage, use the motherboard/fan controller settings or a resistor/adapter as needed to achieve proper speed and noise levels. Ensure airflow direction aligns with your case cooling layout and avoid obstruction of the fan blades.

Recommendations

For quiet operation, install vibration-damping mounts and set the fan to a lower speed in BIOS or via a fan controller when maximum airflow is not required. Regularly clean dust from the blades and frame to maintain performance and prolong bearing life.
