TV-signaalin vahvistin Kathrein VOS 20/RA-1G

The Kathrein VOS 20/RA-1G is a TV signal amplifier designed for distribution and signal-level stabilization in terrestrial and cable TV installations. It covers a wide frequency range of 85–1006 MHz and uses F-type connectors for input and output. The compact metal housing and modest power consumption make the unit suitable for wall- or cabinet-mounted installations where reliable amplification with low noise and stable performance is required.

Advantages

The amplifier provides wideband coverage across VHF and UHF frequencies, enabling consistent reception across the 85–1006 MHz range. Its compact dimensions and relatively low weight simplify installation in confined spaces. The device is engineered for low power consumption and operates from a standard mains supply, reducing the need for specialized power infrastructure. Robust connector types and metal enclosure ensure mechanical stability and shielding against external interference.

How to use

Install the Kathrein VOS 20/RA-1G on a stable surface or inside a distribution cabinet, securing it with appropriate mounting hardware. Connect the incoming antenna or cable feed to the amplifier input using an F-type coaxial connector and connect the output to the distribution line or first splitter. Ensure the unit is connected to a 230 V mains supply with the correct mains frequency. After powering on, check signal levels at downstream receivers and adjust system topology (splitters, cable lengths) as needed to avoid overload or insufficient signal. Follow local electrical safety regulations during installation and service.

Recommendations

To maintain stable reception, place the amplifier close to the signal source when possible, minimize the use of unnecessary splitters before the amplifier, and use good-quality coaxial cabling with correctly installed F connectors. Regularly inspect connectors and cables for corrosion or damage, and avoid exposing the unit to excessive moisture or heat to prolong service life.
