UBIQUITI NETWORKS Uvc-ai-dome Unifi-videokamera musta

Ubiquiti UVC-AI-Dome-B is an all-weather, vandal-proof 4K PoE dome IP camera designed for ceiling or wall mounting indoors and outdoors. It captures up to 3840×2160 at 30 fps using a 1/1.8" optical sensor and offers a wide 109.9° horizontal field of view. The camera supports wired Ethernet (PoE) power and connection, provides up to 40 m IR night vision and records audio via an integrated microphone. Micro SD card support enables edge recording.

Advantages

The camera combines high-resolution 4K imaging with advanced on-device AI for face and license plate recognition, improving detection accuracy while reducing reliance on central servers. Robust mechanical and weather ratings (vandal-proof dome, IP66) make it suitable for exposed installations. PoE connectivity simplifies installation by delivering power and network over a single cable, and local micro SD recording provides continued operation if network storage is unavailable.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Perimeter and entrance monitoring for businesses
• Parking lot and street surveillance with plate recognition
• Indoor lobby and corridor monitoring
• Outdoor exposed locations requiring vandal-resistant hardware

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 1/1.8" 8 MP
• Maximum resolution: 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps
• Horizontal field of view: 109.9° (ultra-wide)
• Night vision: IR illumination up to 40 m
• Audio: Integrated microphone
• Edge storage: Micro SD card support
• Connectivity: Wired Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Mounting: Ceiling or wall
• Ingress protection: Weatherproof for outdoor use (IP66)
• Vandal resistance: Vandal-proof dome construction
• Color and weight: Black, about 0.7 kg

How to use

Mount the dome camera on a ceiling or wall using appropriate anchors and follow the manufacturer’s mounting template for correct positioning. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable switch or injector to provide both network and power over a single Ethernet cable. Configure the camera through the Ubiquiti management interface or compatible NVR software: set resolution and frame rate, enable AI features such as face and license plate recognition, and configure recording targets including micro SD, local NAS, or cloud storage. Adjust IR and exposure settings for optimal night-time performance and position the camera to cover the desired field of view.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation outdoors, install the camera under an overhang where possible, use a surge-protected PoE switch in areas prone to electrical disturbances, and format and test the micro SD card periodically. Ensure firmware is kept up to date and tune AI thresholds to balance detection sensitivity and false positives for your environment.
