Ugreen NASync DXP4800 Plus NAS pöytämalli Intel® Pentium® Gold 8505 8 GB DDR5 0 TB UGOS Pro

The Ugreen NASync DXP4800 Plus Intel Pentium Gold 8505 8GB DDR5 is a desktop NAS designed for home and small office environments. It is powered by an Intel Pentium Gold 8505 CPU and equipped with 8GB of DDR5 memory, running UGOS PRO. The unit ships without installed storage, supporting up to six drives (HDD or SSD) and configurable RAID arrays to match capacity, redundancy and performance requirements. The chassis is a desktop form factor and the system includes Ethernet LAN connectivity for integration into local networks.

Advantages

This NAS combines a modern Intel Pentium Gold 8505 processor with 8GB DDR5 to provide responsive file serving, light virtualization and media streaming for small-scale deployments. With support for up to six drives and RAID configurations, it enables flexible storage architecture and the ability to balance performance and data protection. The device runs UGOS PRO, offering native NAS features and management tools. As a diskless unit, it allows users to choose HDDs or SSDs and customize capacity and tiering according to their needs.

Suitable for

• Home network storage and personal cloud for file backup and media streaming
• Small office file sharing, centralized document storage and team collaboration
• Light virtualization, container hosting or development/test environments
• Media transcoding and serving for multi-device households (depending on workload)
• Custom RAID arrays for data redundancy or performance (RAID-supported)

How to use

Install your chosen HDDs or SSDs in the available drive bays following the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Connect the NAS to your local network via Ethernet and power it on. Access UGOS PRO through the web management interface or provided management tools to initialize storage, create volumes and configure RAID arrays. Set up user accounts, shared folders and network services (SMB/NFS/FTP) according to your deployment requirements. For media or virtualization services, enable and configure the relevant UGOS PRO applications and allocate storage and memory resources as needed.

Recommendations

For balanced performance and redundancy, consider pairing SSDs for cache or frequently accessed data with high-capacity HDDs for bulk storage, and configure RAID levels that match your risk tolerance and performance needs. Keep the UGOS PRO firmware up to date, schedule regular backups to an external location, and monitor drive health through the NAS management interface to ensure reliable operation.
