Ulkoinen 4G/5G LTE-antenni QOLTEC 9 dBi SMA-liitännällä ja 3 m kaapelilla

The QOLTEC External 4G/5G LTE antenna with 9 dBi gain and SMA connector is a compact outdoor/indoor antenna designed to enhance mobile broadband reception for routers, modems and gateways that support LTE and 5G NR frequency bands. With a 3 m cable and a standard SMA connector, the antenna helps increase signal strength, reduce packet loss and improve data throughput in areas with weak cellular coverage. It is suitable for mounting on walls, poles or near windows to find a better reception point while maintaining a low-profile appearance.

Advantages

This antenna provides a moderate directional gain of 9 dBi to focus reception and transmission toward cellular base stations, which can result in improved download and upload speeds. The included 3 m cable gives flexibility in positioning the antenna for optimal signal, and the SMA connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of consumer routers and modems that accept an external antenna. Its weather-resistant housing allows for installation outdoors or in sheltered exterior locations without requiring a specialized mounting framework.

How to use

Choose a mounting location that provides the clearest line of sight toward the nearest cellular mast, such as an exterior wall, roof edge, pole or a high window. Route the 3 m cable from the antenna to your router or modem and attach the SMA connector to the device’s external antenna port, ensuring the connector is screwed on securely but without excessive force. After mounting, power on the cellular device and verify signal levels and link performance using your router’s status page or signal-monitoring tools. If reception is not optimal, adjust the antenna orientation or try alternate mounting points until the best signal and throughput are achieved.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor installation, use corrosion-resistant fittings and seal cable entry points to prevent moisture ingress. When selecting the antenna position, avoid placing it near large metal objects or sources of RF interference. If your device uses a different SMA gender, use an appropriate adapter; confirm connector type before purchase. Periodically inspect the antenna and cable for wear and secure mounting to maintain consistent performance.
