Ulkoinen 5G/LTE-antenni Poynting A-PUCK-0002-V2-01 6 dBi SMA(M) 2x MIMO

Compact external Poynting A-PUCK-0002-V2-01 antenna designed for 5G and LTE networks. The antenna offers 6 dBi gain and comes with SMA (male) connectors in a dual-element 2x MIMO configuration. It is intended to improve cellular reception and throughput for routers, modems and gateways and can be mounted on vehicles or fixed structures to enhance signal stability and data speeds in areas with weak coverage.

Advantages

The antenna's compact, weather-resistant enclosure and 6 dBi gain provide a balance between size and performance for outdoor and mobile installations. The dual-element 2x MIMO design supports improved downstream and upstream throughput when paired with compatible cellular devices. SMA (male) connectors allow straightforward connection to many consumer and industrial routers and modems without requiring special adapters. Its low-profile form factor simplifies installation on vehicles or permanent mounts while maintaining a stable RF pattern for consistent coverage.

Suitable for

• Improving cellular reception for 5G and LTE routers and gateways
• Vehicle-mounted antenna installations for mobile connectivity
• Fixed outdoor mounting on buildings, poles or masts
• Enhancing throughput in locations with weak or variable signal

Key specifications

• Frequency coverage: 5G and LTE cellular bands
• Gain: 6 dBi
• Connector type: SMA (male)
• Antenna configuration: 2x MIMO (dual element)
• Enclosure: compact, weather-resistant design suitable for outdoor use
• Mounting: suitable for vehicle and fixed structure mounting

How to use

Identify compatible cellular router, modem or gateway ports that accept SMA (male) antenna connectors. Mount the antenna on a suitable location — vehicle roof, pole or building exterior — ensuring the antenna has a clear line of sight to open sky where possible to maximize reception. Connect each SMA (male) connector to the corresponding antenna port on the device, observing the correct MIMO port pairing if required by the device. After connection and secure mounting, power on the cellular device and verify signal strength and data throughput. Adjust mounting position or orientation if necessary to achieve improved reception.

Recommendations

For best results, place the antenna as high as practical and avoid obstructions such as metal structures that can block RF signals. Use weatherproof cable runs and check connector tightness periodically. Ensure the router or modem supports external 2x MIMO antenna configurations and that the SMA connectors are compatible with your device to avoid signal degradation.
