Upotuspohjaporausmalline wolfcraft GmbH upotuspohjaporausmalline-sarjat

The wolfcraft Undercover Jig Set provides a complete kit for drilling and fastening concealed joints in wood. The set centres on an undercover jig (a pocket-hole drilling template) plus a step drill bit, depth stop, hexagonal key, screws with matching screwdriver blade and screw-hole covers. Practical presettings on the jig allow measurement of board thickness from 12 mm and guide angled holes for precise, repeatable pocket joints.

Advantages

The kit enables guided, angled drill holes and a two-step drilling action that pre-drills the screw thread and countersinks the screw head. This produces stable, accurate joints with screws hidden from view; included hole covers conceal the fasteners completely. All components are matched for easy, efficient assembly and the jig simplifies both furniture making and repair tasks.

Suitable for

• Furniture assembly
• Repairing drawers, shelves and wardrobes
• DIY woodworking projects requiring hidden joints

Key specifications

• Board thickness presettings from 12 mm
• Made in: EU

How to use

Position the undercover jig on the workpiece and set the drilling gauge to the board thickness. Use the step drill bit with the depth stop to drill the guided angled hole: the tip makes a pilot hole for the screw thread and the second step forms a countersink for the screw head. Insert the screw with the supplied screwdriver blade through the pocket hole to join the pieces. Cover the pocket with the included screw-hole cover if a concealed finish is required.

Recommendations

Use the presettings for standard board thicknesses (from 12 mm) and verify depth stop alignment before drilling. For best results, clamp workpieces securely and use the supplied components to ensure correct hole size and screw seating.
