USB 2.0 A–A-kaapeli ProXtend USB2AA-003, uros–uros, 3 m

ProXtend USB2AA-003 is a USB 2.0 A-to-A male-to-male cable with a 3 m length intended for direct connections between devices that accept a USB A connector. The cable supports standard USB 2.0 data transfer rates and is suitable for short-range links, peripheral connections and equipment setups that specifically require an A-to-A interface. Its 3 m length provides extra reach compared with typical patch cables while remaining compact enough for desktop or AV installations.

Advantages

The cable provides a straightforward, no-configuration connection between two USB A ports and preserves USB 2.0 performance for data transfer. Its male-to-male A connectors allow use in setups where an A-to-A link is required, and the 3 m length reduces the need for intermediate extensions. The cable is lightweight and simple to route behind desks or inside equipment racks for short-range connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting compatible peripherals and devices that require a USB A-to-A connection
• Extending reach between closely located computers and USB-equipped equipment
• Temporary data transfer tasks and service/maintenance operations
• AV and desktop setups where a 3 m USB A-to-A link is needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A male to USB A male
• USB standard: USB 2.0
• Length: 3 m
• Weight: 0.11 kg
• Typical use: data transfer and short-range connections

How to use

Plug each USB A male connector into the corresponding USB A ports on the devices to be connected. Ensure both devices support direct A-to-A connections before use, and verify that the cable route does not place strain on the connectors. No driver installation is required for standard USB 2.0 operation; the connected devices will negotiate speed and link parameters automatically. Disconnect by gently pulling the molded connector housing rather than yanking the cable itself.

Recommendations

Use this cable only between devices that are designed to accept a USB A-to-A connection. Avoid using the cable for power-only applications beyond the USB 2.0 specification and do not connect two host devices directly without appropriate host-to-host interface support. Store the cable coiled without tight kinks and avoid exposing it to excessive heat or mechanical stress to maintain reliable performance.
