USB 3.0 A - A-naaras -jatkokaapeli VivoLink PROKEYUSB3AFBM1W valkoinen

The VivoLink PROKEYUSB3AFBM1W White USB 3.0 A to A female extension cable provides a USB Type-A female port that extends or relocates an existing USB Type-A connection without compromising USB 3.0 data rates. Designed for use with desktops, hubs and workstations, this extension cable enables easier access to ports and more flexible cable routing for peripherals and external devices.

Advantages

This USB 3.0 A to A female extension cable supports SuperSpeed data transfer rates while maintaining backward compatibility with USB 2.0/1.1 devices. The compact white housing blends with light-coloured setups and reduces the need to reach around or behind equipment. Durable connectors and a flexible jacket help ensure reliable signal integrity and a stable physical connection for frequent use.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach of a USB Type-A port on a desktop or PC case
• Creating a convenient front- or side-mounted USB access point for peripherals
• Connecting keyboards, mice, external drives and other USB Type-A devices
• Using with USB hubs to relocate an accessible port
• Temporary connections in workstations, test benches or service desks

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) SuperSpeed compatible
• Connector configuration: USB Type-A female to USB Type-A male extension
• Color: White
• Cable function: Extension/relocation of existing USB Type-A ports
• Compatibility: Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 peripherals

How to use

Plug the male USB Type-A end into the host device's available USB Type-A port, and connect the desired USB Type-A device to the female port on the extension. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable connection and verify the host recognises the connected peripheral. For best performance, use the extension for SuperSpeed-capable devices and avoid chaining multiple extensions or low-quality adapters that may degrade signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal SuperSpeed performance, connect directly to a USB 3.0 port on the host and limit the total cable length between host and device. Avoid kinking or tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If using external drives or devices that draw significant power, ensure the host port or hub supplies adequate current or use a powered hub where necessary.
