USB 3.0 A-naaras - USB 3.0 A-naaras -liitin, VivoLink PROKEYUSB3AFBM3W, valkoinen

Inline USB 3.0 A female to A female coupler by VivoLink (PROKEYUSB3AFBM3W) in white provides a compact, plug-and-play way to join two USB A male cables while maintaining USB 3.0 data rates. The coupler supports backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, enabling use with a wide range of existing devices. Its simple inline design is intended for straightforward extension of cable length or temporary connections when a single longer cable is not available.

Advantages

The VivoLink USB 3.0 A female-to-female coupler preserves SuperSpeed data transfer capabilities where both connected cables and devices support USB 3.0, while remaining compatible with older USB standards. Its compact form factor and white finish make it unobtrusive in desktop, home office or AV setups. The coupler requires no drivers and works immediately when plugged into two compatible USB A male cables, offering a practical solution for joining or extending USB connections.

Suitable for

• Extending an existing USB A cable length for PCs, laptops or docking stations
• Joining two USB A male cables to reach a device without replacing cables
• Connecting legacy USB 2.0/1.1 peripherals when full USB 3.0 speed is not required
• Temporary connections in office, home and AV setups

Key specifications

• Interface: USB A female to USB A female
• USB standard: USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed) with backward compatibility to USB 2.0 and USB 1.1
• Color: white
• Form factor: inline/female-to-female coupler
• Connection: plug-and-play, no drivers required

How to use

Insert each USB A male connector from the two cables into the respective female ends of the VivoLink coupler until fully seated. Verify that both cables are secure and that connected devices power on or are recognised by the host system. Data transfer speeds will follow the lowest common USB specification supported by the connected cables and devices. Remove by gently pulling the cable ends from the coupler when disconnecting.

Recommendations

Use the coupler to extend cable reach for short to moderate distances; for long runs or to preserve maximum SuperSpeed performance, use a single certified USB 3.0 cable of appropriate length or an active/repeater cable. Avoid exposing the coupler to excessive moisture, heat, or mechanical stress to maintain reliable connections.
