USB 3.0 -keskitin GEMBIRD UHB-U3P1U2P3-02 — 4 porttia

The Gembird UHB-U3P1U2P3-02 is a compact USB 3.0 hub with four ports, designed to expand the number of available USB connections on laptops and desktop computers. It offers faster data transfer speeds compared to USB 2.0 and provides a simple way to connect multiple peripherals such as external drives, keyboards, mice and other USB devices simultaneously.

Advantages

Compact aluminium housing in silver reduces bulk on a desk or in a laptop bag while providing basic protection for the hub. USB 3.0 connectivity enables higher data transfer rates for compatible devices and backward compatibility with USB 2.0 peripherals. Four downstream ports allow several devices to be connected at once without frequent cable swapping.

Suitable for

• Expanding USB connectivity on laptops and ultrabooks
• Connecting external hard drives and flash drives for data transfer
• Attaching peripherals such as keyboard, mouse or USB speakers
• Use with desktop PCs that require additional USB ports

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0)
• Number of ports: 4 downstream USB ports
• Colour: Silver
• Dimensions: 104 x 17 x 7 mm
• Weight: 0.021 kg

How to use

Connect the hub to an available USB port on your computer using the integrated cable or supplied connector. After the operating system recognises the device, plug peripherals into the hub’s USB ports. No additional drivers are usually required for modern operating systems; power and data are supplied through the host USB port. For high-speed transfers, connect compatible USB 3.0 devices and use a USB 3.0 host port.

Recommendations

To ensure stable operation and optimal transfer speeds, connect high-power or high-speed devices directly to the computer or use a powered USB hub when connecting multiple power-hungry peripherals. Keep the hub in a well-ventilated place and avoid excessive strain on the cable and connectors.
