USB 3.1 Type-C -adapteri ShiverPeaks 13-40001 — uros liitäntään naaras 90°

The USB 3.1 Type‑C Adapter ShiverPeaks 13‑40001 — Male to Female 90° is a compact right‑angle coupling that converts a USB Type‑C male plug into a Type‑C female port at a 90° orientation. Designed for environments with limited space behind devices, this adapter supports USB 3.1 data transfer standards and provides a low‑profile connection to reduce cable strain and improve routing for laptops, tablets, smartphones and compatible peripherals.

Advantages

This right‑angle adapter minimizes cable protrusion and helps prevent accidental disconnection and connector wear by changing the exit direction of the cable. It preserves USB 3.1 data transfer capability while offering a durable mechanical interface for frequent plug cycles. The compact design allows easier placement of devices against walls or in tight enclosures and reduces stress on both the cable and the device port.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB‑C power and data cables to laptops positioned near walls or in docking setups
• Reorienting cables for tablets and smartphones to prevent strain on the connector
• Use with external drives, hubs, and peripherals where space behind the device is restricted
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in office desks, AV racks, and compact workstations

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB Type‑C male to USB Type‑C female at 90°
• USB standard support: USB 3.1 data transfer compatibility
• Orientation: right‑angle (90°) to alter cable exit direction
• Use case: data and power pass‑through for compatible USB‑C devices
• Form factor: low‑profile, compact adapter designed to reduce cable strain

How to use

Insert the male Type‑C plug of the adapter into the device’s Type‑C port, ensuring correct alignment. Plug the USB‑C cable into the female end of the adapter. Verify that the connection supports the required power and data functions for your specific device and cable; for full USB 3.1 data rates use cables and hosts that support USB 3.1. Remove the adapter by pulling the connector straight out to avoid bending the cable at the interface.

Recommendations

Use the adapter to reorient bulky or stiff cables and minimize mechanical stress on device ports. For maximum data and power performance, pair with USB‑C cables and hosts rated for USB 3.1. Avoid exposing the adapter to excessive moisture or mechanical impact and disconnect under load only when device guidelines allow.
